Rusted Root’s “Send Me On My Way”, which hit #72 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1995 [1] is its most commercially popular song. It was used on the soundtracks of Matilda; Ice Age; the 1996 film Pie in the Sky; the film Race the Sun; YTV Canada’s Are We There Yet?: World Adventure; and the Boy Scouts of America, Order of the Arrow Philmont Trail Crew promotional video that was released in the late 1990s. Its music has also appeared on the television shows Party of Five and Homicide.

The leaves will soon be changing and the coats will be coming out of the closet.  We have the trailer packed and are hitting the road for the last festival of the summer in Manassas.  So long Summer, thanks for all the memories and good times.  Were gonna miss you but we’ll see you soon!

Good Sunday to all of you!  I hope you have had a wonderful weekend so far.  Thanks to all the people that are visiting the site for the first due to seeing the write-up that was in the Chesapeake Clipper today.  Thank you for coming and spending time with us here at the site.

Ok, no more shameless promotion.  I got a new phone! Hooray! And there is an application that allows me to do many of the website edits via phone and upload pics, videos, and such… Really lookin forward to getting that thing rolling.

Been writing some fresh tunes.  Just wrote one the other day that I was glad I had the write frequency tuned in on my brain.  I just tapped into and it started to flow like water.  We’ll be playing that one real soon.
