2010! JGB Griffins!
Boys and girls of the web! Welcome to the home page of the Joe Gosman Band. Thank you for being with us at the start of the new year. If you were there with us as we brought it in at Wicker’s Crab Pot in Indian River then you were at one heck of a party and good time.
Thank you for being a part of our world. We are glad to say that much is going on. We are currently playing some “plugged” acoustic shows to keep busy. Joel is currently working on growing one of the finest pieces of facial hair this side the Mississippi. Keith is working on learning to play 3 instruments at once because 2 doesn’t seem to challenge him much any more. Dean is working hard on his abilities to make cobras obey his commands using solely his harmonic tonalities of his bass guitar. John Ashley is working on not only being able to jump off the fountain at Town Center Virginia Beach, but he is working on a mid-evil catapult to throw not only his drum sticks but also his body at adoring fans up to 150 yards away. Lastly, Joe is working on learning every fad dance move from the 1950’s to today.
All this and more will be found when the JGB fully assembles to hit the scene post CD release party!
Til then, come on out and check out an acoustic show.

If you’ve gotten caught up in some of the hustle and bustle and need a ‘get-a-way’ then come on out to one of our few acoustic shows we will be performing in the coming months. If you can’t make it then the next best thing would be to pop in either, “It’s a wonderful life” or “White Christmas.” Love you guys.

Everything you need lies inside of you
A fire starts with a spark. A hurricane starts with a gust of wind. A perfect season starts with the first touchdown. Change comes before you grow. Don’t let your dreams get lonely. Live for something bigger than yourself. You have been put here on this planet for a reason. A purpose. Find it.
If you take care of the little things in life then the bigs things will take care of itself. Hold close to your friends and your family. Love every minute of it. Good and Bad.
This weekend we got City Wine Sellar (where magical evenings occur on a regular basis) and are playing a fundraiser at Kitty Hawk Harley Davidson Dealership. We are totally stoked to be a part of what they have going on with the Sgt. Mac Memorial.
We love you guys. Thank you for being with us!

Inspiration
In life it is easy to get caught up with the obstacle that is right in front of us. It can keep us from seeing the big picture. If you are walking through the forest to your camp and the only thing you can see is the path before you then you will miss the beauty of the wilderness.
Life is not about you and it is not about me. It is about all of us living together. We can learn from one another and grow into the people that we need to be together. We need to make sure that we are enjoying the journey with the people that we are traveling it with. Take some time this week and spend it with someone you love, someone you barely know, and someone who may need a little helping hand. I love you guys. Thank you for being there for me. -joe
If you need some relief from the work week then come get your weekly dose of the JGB out in Virginia Beach at the 15th Street Raw Bar and Grill.
